The TS-WVPA3 Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR) Tester is built on the gravimetric (weight-loss) test method and complies with the requirements of GB/T 1037, ASTM E96, and other related standards. It is designed to evaluate the water vapor permeability of films, sheets, papers, packaging, and comparable materials, making it a practical solution for the food, pharmaceutical, medical device, daily chemical, and photovoltaic electronics industries. With a wide detection range and efficient measurement performance, the instrument supports water vapor transmittance testing across high-, medium-, and low-barrier materials.
Key Features
High-Precision Load Cell
The analyzer is fitted with a high-precision weighing sensor that delivers stable, efficient weighing performance, achieving a measurement resolution of up to 0.0001 g/(m2·24h). A semiconductor-based temperature stabilizer automatically regulates chamber temperature, maintaining a control accuracy of 0.1℃.
High Throughput, Wide Testing Range, and Broad Applicability
Three independent test chambers, each generating its own data set, allow simultaneous multi-sample testing and improve overall testing efficiency. A wide measurement range of 0.1~10000 g/(m2·24h) accommodates high-, medium-, and low-barrier materials alike, and with customized fixtures, the instrument can also be used to test the water vapor transmission of bottles, bags, bowls, and other finished packaging items.
Refined Design, Simple Operation, Real-Time Curve Display
The housing is shaped with ergonomics and technical aesthetics in mind, featuring a finely finished 3D-printed shell with clean lines and a modern appearance. Operation is fully automated, covering one-key test initiation, automatic result judgment, and automatic shutdown. The display presents four live curves in real time — transmittance versus time, temperature versus time, humidity versus time, and weight versus time — with an option to preview or hide individual curves.
