The TS-T2 Tear Tester, based on the Elmendorf method, is engineered to accurately measure the tearing resistance of paper, film, and related flexible materials. The instrument supports fully automated, computer-controlled testing as well as independent stand-alone operation, providing flexibility across a range of laboratory workflows. It is well suited for evaluating the tear strength of plastic film, PVC, polyolefin, polyester, composite film, sheet materials, non-woven fabric, textile, paper, and board, among other substrates.
